We use Microsoft® Office Suite as the basis for all database operations. This allows you to develop your own reports. If you choose to allow us to build customized reports for you, Microsoft's technology dramatically cuts the time required and reduces your expense.
Microsoft® Office Suite allows the counter system to integrate into your business model. We have as our goal to eliminate duplicated effort. Using client forms as a template, we produce automatic counts reports, eliminating hand written reports. Quarterly reports are just plain easy. Because our system is based on and built around the MicroSoft® Office Suite, KMS can automate your operation and put accurate data into your hands.
Reporting is integrated with an archive of system counts taken every 5 minutes. More frequent snapshots can be taken with a mouse click. The core reporting system builds reports based on either predefined or manually entered dates and times. A mouse click can generate a report or those same reports can run at predefined times and be available for remote access over the Web. If desired, the reports generated are available in Microsoft Excel format and HTML. This means reports can be automatically made available for downloading directly into your (or your supervisor's) Web browser.
Accuracy is insured by entering a physical Census into the system. Your Census is a reality check. The Pecos system adjusts to reflect reality. Our system clearly displays the adjustments made to bring the counts into balance with the Census. Proper accounting dictates that any adjustments should be plainly seen. Just like any accounting system, count system adjustments can reveal problems. Problems unseen by other systems. Broken field equipment, unusual traffic patterns, and other parking quirks are revealed. This is the kind of reporting KMS clients have come to rely upon, clear reports with stated accuracy.
