Who are we?

KMS Systems Inc. was founded in 1981 and incorporated in Houston, Texas, that same year for the purpose of developing and marketing life safety applications on personal computers. It prospered by successfully marketing working solutions on PCs when the competition's solutions were mainframe based. The solutions included the first PC based Fully Enhanced 911 System in Texas, Fire Alarm database systems and sophisticated Closed Circuit Surveillance systems. However, in recent years KMS has concentrated on the design, installation and maintenance of sophisticated access control systems for high-rise office buildings and industrial facilities. Since its inception, KMS has had the same management team.
